UI Makeover

This was a complete redesign of EMC Data Protection Advisor to improve usability. User experience objectives included:

• Reorganizing the user interface to clearly map to the key selling points, make the value proposition obvious, and counteract the stigma that DPA is merely a reporting tool
• Decreasing time to value while reducing dependence on sales engineers to deploy
• Maintaining backward compatibility

Administration Feature

Customers requested a feature to control bandwidth used by a backup application. I designed the bandwidth throttling interface to meet their requirements. Samples include:
